In the “Responding to Christian Nationalism” Symposium, Dr Stephen Backhouse speaks on “A Single Life: The Extraordinary Søren Kierkegaard” at St Helier Parish Church.

In this lunchtime discussion, Dr Backhouse will give a brief intro to one of the most important thinkers of the modern period - and why need his message more than ever. 

Dr. Backhouse is a world expert in Political Philosophy and in the work of Søren Kierkegaard - the Danish Philosopher whose critique of Christendom in the 19th Century resounds louder than ever in the present climate.
