Exploring Christian Nationalism

In the “Responding to Christian Nationalism” Symposium, Dr Bob Ekblad speaks on “Exploring Christian Nationalism” at St Andrew’s Church.

In this session, Bob explores New Testament visions of citizenship in the Kingdom of God and submission to governing authorities, offering a biblical lens for engaging with the rise of religious nationalism. Drawing on his ministry experience in the United States and reflections on current developments in both America and the UK, he invites us to consider what faithful allegiance to the Kingdom looks like in our time.

Dr. Ekblad is an ordained Presbyterian pastor and co-director of Tierra Nueva in Burlington, Washington - an outreach ministry to the marginalised, undocumented and incarcerated - known for his writing and Bible teaching.
